CryoSlimming®

CryoSlimming is excellent for targeted fat loss in stubborn areas. During the 35-minute session, a cold
(sub-zero) massage triggers apoptosis, or cell death, of subcutaneous fat cells. This works because the fat
cells’ intracellular electrolytes crystallize in the cold. When the fat cells crystallize, they rupture, and the

Cryoskin uses science that works with your body’s natural systems. The “Peltier effect” gives Cryoskin precise temperature control, creating the perfect conditions to rupture fat cells without damaging surrounding tissue.

How long does it take to see results?

For CryoSlimming, results typically become more noticeable up to two to three weeks after the initial treatment, as it takes that amount of time for the body’s lymphatic system to fully clear the dead fat cells. CryoToning and CryoFacials have more immediate results, usually within a day or two.

Depending on your goals, it is recommended to treat specific areas between 3 and 10 times for best results.

The results can last for years as long as you maintain your weight, but it is recommended to schedule 1 to 2 treatments every 6 months while maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine. Success varies from person to person. Clients who eat well and exercise are better able to keep the fat off.

Clients can do CryoSlimming treatments every 14 days. This allows time for the dead fat cells to cycle through the lymphatic system. Clients can do CryoToning and CryoFacials as often as they’d like, with most clients opting for once a week.

Clients with the following health conditions:

  • Severe Raynaud’s syndrome
  • Very poor circulation

To get the best results from your Cryoskin session, you should not eat any sugar for a minimum of 2 hours, and ideally 4 hours, beforehand. This is because sugar is a strong source of energy for fat cells. By sugar, we mean all kinds of sugars such as carbohydrates like pasta, rice, bread, and cereals, as well as natural sugars such as fruit, some vegetables, and alcohol.

Avoid exercise immediately before treatment, as it will make it more difficult to cool down the body enough for an effective CryoSlimming treatment.

Just as you prepared for your treatment, you should avoid eating carbohydrates and sugar for a minimum of 2 hours, but ideally 4 hours, after treatment. The freezing effect weakens the fat cells, but if you eat sugar, the fat cells become re-energized and may not die.

Keep alcohol to a minimum for 4 days following your  treatment so as not to overload the liver’s ability to
process the fat cells.

Drink plenty of water, and maintain a healthy diet and exercise routine.

Only one area should be treated in a CryoSlimming session. If you treat more than one area, too many fat cells may be released and you run the risk of overloading your liver. However, a CryoFacial or CryoToning session in different treatment areas can be done on the same day.

Single sessions of CryoToning or CryoSlimming cost $350. However, packages of up to 15 sessions reduce the price to $243 per session. Smaller packages are available for $260 to $300 per session.

Single sessions of CryoFacials cost $250. The purchase of 15 sessions reduces the price to $170 each.
Smaller packages can be purchased for $185 to $210 each.

While CoolSculpting and Cryoskin produce similar fat loss in treated areas, there are some major differences:

  • CryoSlimming produces results within a few weeks, whereas CoolSculpting can take up to 12 weeks.
  • CoolSculpting charges $600 to $1,000 per treatment, whereas single sessions of Cryoskin cost $350.
  • CoolSculpting has reported incidences of “shelving” and numbness, while adverse effects of Cryoskin are uncommon and usually limited to redness and temporary numbness.
  • CoolSculpting can be painful, whereas 88% of people report feeling comfortable and relaxed during a Cryoskin treatment.
